Testing Options Available
Level 1 Sleep Study (In-Centre)
A Level 1 Sleep Study requires a patient to stay overnight in a centre or hospital, where trained Technologists record and analyse his/her sleep for signs of disorder. Additionally, attended studies offer CPAP therapy under the guidance of trained professionals as part of an individualised treatment plan, which is the gold standard for treating any issues patients may experience.
During level 2 home sleep studies, the patient is monitored at home for signs of sleep disorder using EEGs, EOGs, EMGs, leg movements, nasal airflow, snoring, heart rate and oxygen levels.
