Dr Shivonne Prasad is a Melbourne-trained Respiratory and Sleep Physician. After obtaining her medical degree at The University of Auckland in New Zealand, Shivonne completed her basic physician training at Austin Health in Melbourne. She went on to gain Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2016, finishing her specialist training in Respiratory and Sleep medicine at Eastern Health and Alfred Health.

In 2017, Shivonne undertook a clinical and research fellowship in Occupational Lung Disease at Toronto Western and St Michael’s Hospitals in Toronto, Canada. Her time abroad provided valuable insights into the environmental influences on lung disease.

Shivonne has public appointments in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine at Eastern Health and at Alfred Health in Melbourne.
